ANKLE SPRAIN

Description:

The foot twists inwards and causes an injury to the ligaments on the outer side of the ankle. The pain is usually sharp, with significant swelling and bruising.

BioStim™ can be used as an immediate first aid measure in cases such as these - to reduce pain levels, promote faster healing and reduce swelling. BioStim™ can also be used to stregthen the lower leg muscles to help support the ankle in the future.

ELECTRODE POSITIONING Placement of Applicators:

One electrode on either side of the ankle.

BioStim™ can be used as often as required to ease symptoms.

Other Treatments:

Bandage for swelling, support tape/brace, balance retraining (with a physio therapist).
