BIRTHING
(LABOUR) PAIN
|
|
Pain accompanying uterine contractions during labour. Expectant
mothers have used BioStim immediately pre-birth to manage their
pains for many years. It helps minimise the use of analgesics and may
even negate the need for pain killers and epidural injections. Additionally,
it does not make the mother drowsy or lose conciousness. This type of
birth can mean a more pleasant and meaningful experience. First pair of electrodes - one on either side of the spine at the level of the lowest ribs. Second pair of electrodes - one on either side of the spine at the level of the sacrum (the triangular bone at the bottom of the spine). List of precautions. Settings:
BioStim can be used as often as required to ease symptoms and is generally employed continuously during labour (with boosts in intensity from a hand held control).
Massage, heat (hot pack, shower, sauna, spa), breathing techniques. IF
PAIN PERSISTS - CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR | next > |
