Description:

A common cause of knee instability, usually caused by a significant twisting trauma. After the early stages, pain is not typically a significant problem in these cases. Swelling may continue for some time.

This injury is very often a limiting factor to continuing high level sports - and often requires an operation (although the results are not always satisfactory). BioStim™ however, is an excellent way to maintain strength in the hamstring and quadricep muscles (which need to be as strong as possible to help brace the knee).
