QUADRICEPS Place
electrodes across the line of the muscle, the first within a few centimetres
of the hip joint, and the second a few centimetres above the knee-cap.
Best results are obtained when a longer electrode is used closer to the
hip. In this way, all of the muscle fibres can be stimulated without obtaining
unwanted contractions from other muscles.
Cut rubber electrodes to the right length to suit individual needs. List of precautions. |
