Knees are operated on for a wide range of reasons, leaving the joint stiff and sore - sometimes for many weeks.

BioStim™ helps to relieve pain and speed the rate of healing. It can be used from the first day after surgery and all the way through to full rehabilitation. When appropriate, BioStim™ can be used to strengthen the leg muscles which will be weak through inactivity.

One electrode on either side of the knee.

Other Treatments:

Brace, graduated exercise (to increase knee mobility and leg muscle strength), hydrotherapy.
