SUPRASPINATUS
TENDONITIS
|
|
Pain is felt at the tip of the shoulder, sometimes radiating down the side of the arm - worse when lifting the arm above head-height. (Symptoms are caused by an irritation and inflamation of the tendon of the Supraspinatus muscle where it passes under the arch of the bone at the end of the shoulder).
One
electrode is placed just under the tip of the shoulder and the other
above the shoulder joint near the neck.
BioStim can be used as often as required to ease symptoms.
Other Treatments: Gentle shoulder exercises, cross friction massage to the tendon (from a physiotherapist). |
