Description:

Pain is felt at the tip of the shoulder, sometimes radiating down the side of the arm - worse when lifting the arm above head-height. (Symptoms are caused by an irritation and inflamation of the tendon of the Supraspinatus muscle where it passes under the arch of the bone at the end of the shoulder).

BioStim™ can be used to control pain (making movements of the arm easier), as well as promoting blood supply to the area.

Placement of Applicators:

One electrode is placed just under the tip of the shoulder and the other above the shoulder joint near the neck.

Gentle shoulder exercises, cross friction massage to the tendon (from a physiotherapist).
